Not that I had any New Year's party to go to last year, or even the year before that, but still...I'm home, again.
Come to think of it, the years I did go out and do something when I was younger just seem tiring now. The best new years ever was the night I danced at home with PeeWee Herman. And if you're lucky enough to know that story, then you can just keep it to yourself!
I've always wanted to do something with my kids on this night to celebrate. But, frankly after 365 366 days of parenting, I'm just plain wore out.
So I will just ring in the new year with the song from the ending cycle of the dryer. And then do some folding in the first few minutes of 2009. Whoo-hoo!
And, to finish out the year....some useless information:
It takes 7 years to digest gum. (Thank you Galactic Joe.)
It takes 100 water droplets to make a snowflake. (Thank you Ms. Frizzle.)
If you go outside and look up towards the moon, that bright thing shining back at you is Venus. (Thank you Yahoo.)
I tried to get pictures of that last thing, but I couldn't hack the cold that long. Like 3.7 seconds.
And, what would make this year complete? A useless video....
Hope you enjoyed that trip around Grandma's house!
Happy New Year!
