I'm not an expert on proper technique for anything, except maybe being a couch potato. While this appears to be proper free throw form, I wonder if next time he couldn't bend the elbow a little so his aunt with the camera could get this charming face in the shot? Is there a name for that?
Cooper calls it a "big throw".
For half time, the little girls danced. Unlike the above photo, she needs to work on her form.
Actually, she did really well, but the times she was dancing she was watching the big girl so I never could see her face.
