To say that 2011 has been a year of unexpected blessings would be an understatement. With that said, I'm very excited for the blessings that 2012 will bring.
My goal in 2011 was to give up, in a sense. I really wanted to hand all my worries over to the Lord & try to live in each moment. With all of life's major events of 2011 happening in one week, I think I did that. :)
I pray I can continue to hand things over in the new year, especially with things happening that I know about. Most of all, we're all very excited about the new baby that will be arriving in a few months. I'm also curious to see what kind of opportunities and blessings the new studio will provide. I'm so thankful that the Lord has given both to me and pray that I can use the studio for His good. Finishing out the first year of a new job is also on the list of blessings. I love the new challenge it has brought me and all of the fabulous people I get to work with.
It's all a little overwhelming at times, but I know He wouldn't give me more than I can handle. :)
I'm also so thankful for all of you - blog readers, clients, friends, & family. To end off the year and to kick start the new one, here's a giveaway!
Just tell me what you're looking forward to in the New Year in the comments section below or on the Facebook post with this link. Winner will be drawn tomorrow, JANUARY 1, 2012 at 11:00 pm CDT. They will be receiving a $75 sitting to be used at any time in 2012. If the winner only wants to use a $50 sitting, then the remaining $25 can be credited toward prints totaling that amount.
Don't forget to comment!
From my family to yours, may 2012 provide many blessings, laughs, & good memories!

I'm looking forward to finding a routine with our new little one and praying the terrible twos will be over sooner than later!

I am going to work to put away old grudges. You probably know which ones. I don't care if certain people like me, but I really need to work on letting things go! So I am looking forward to a healthier 2012 in that respect!

We are thankful for our new addition as well, babies are such an amazing blessing! Also asking for the strength to be a good mom to all my kiddos and a good wife to my wonderful husband! We will just have to take life as it comes and roll with it, it's more fun that way!!

I'm looking forward to all the many blessings God has in store for us this year!!! I feel so extremely blessed to have a loving, supportive husband and three precious children. I know that life isn't always easy and that with the new year there are a few fears about what the new year has in store, but no matter what, we have each other.

I'm looking forward to being able to say "we survived baby's 1st year"! Have a Blessed 2012! Speaking of which, Nolan turns 6 months in February so I'll be getting in touch. I'm hoping for some snow on the ground, maybe snow pictures! :)

Thankful for great family and friends. A job that I enjoy and allows me to provide for my family. A roof over our head and a car that runs. O I could go on and on of my blessing. Thank you Trudy happy new year

Always looking forward to fun times with the kids and grand kids--sledding, mushroom hunting, pool time, fair, pumpkin time, Thanksgiving, Christmas! Always something on the calendar! But most esp. looking towards the May wedding of youngest son!
