I'm a little behind on family/life/entertainment updates. Sorry.
So last Tuesday was Valentine's. I've always loved this holiday. Not sure why. Maybe because I could always look forward to a new piece of clothing when I was a kid. (Usually a red sweater. Not homemade. :) ) I think that's where I realized I loved giving gifts on Valentine's more than receiving.
I haven't had a whole lot of energy lately, but seemed to be able to have enough to get the kids' gifts ready after they went to bed.
Here's what the building process looked like. You can probably see what's in there. Trust me....it wasn't easy!
If you're going to do this, make sure you have decent balloons. I think these were 15". I wasn't really sure what I could get away with, but was happy with the five things I did get in there.
Disclaimer: Please be careful when inflating!!
I didn't try helium because I knew they woudln't float anyway.
The kids had a blast trying to figure out how to get into them. Neither wanted to pop them but they both wanted the goodies inside!
Check out these faces. Haha!
Hope you had a wonderful day with your loved ones & celebrated exactly like you wanted! :)

What? You got Valentine's Day presents when you were a kid? You must have had much nicer parents than I had (or possibly less harried!). My definition of "harried" is persistently harassed. I think that explains it!
